10Q - COATING TANKS AUTOMATICALLY     ​​

 

Qlayers put years of development into the latest 10Q robot which uses cutting-edge technology that transforms  the  traditional  method  of  coating  large-scale industrial surfaces  into a fully  controlled, efficient,  and  safe process.

The robots are tested to operate in the most demanding environments. The controls are designed to be intuitive for operation by a crew not necessarily experienced to work with (semi-) automated equipment.

​BL8 - COATING BLADES WITH A UNIQUE SOLUTION

BL8 is industry's first automated paint robot that  coats wind turbine blades faster, safer, more reliable, with almost
zero emission and more consistent quality. It is also the first robot of its kind that is able to coat without having any overspray.  

The biggest advantage of BL8 is that the coating application technology does not require any modification in the mechanics or control of wind turbines so even the paint will stay the same which reduces the threshold for implementation significantly. ​

FUNCTIONAL COATING: SHARKSKIN RIBLETS   ​​

 

We are the only one worldwide that is able to print sharkskin microstructures in a cost-efficient and effective way.

Over the last decades, it has been shown by researchers that in nature all surfaces are multifunctional. An example is a shark, which has microstructures on it's skin that reduce drag with water. Researchers have been replicating these structures in the lab for many years. 

​Qlayers developed a patent pending technique which has the potential to make this happen.
