ABOUT THE JOB

As an Electrical Engineer, you will actively contribute to the design and implementation of advanced industrial coating application systems. You’ll gain hands-on experience with tools like EPLAN P8 while deepening your understanding of safety standards and system integration. This role is suited for early-career engineers who want to help design and improve machines that are built, used, and relied on by our customers.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Create and optimize detailed electrical schematics and layouts using tools like EPLAN P8 (or similar);
  • Support the design and implementation of electrical systems in compliance with NEN 3140, IEC 60204-1, and CE standards;
  • Collaborate in selecting and integrating components based on system requirements;
  • Lead the assembly and testing processes of electrical cabinets and prototypes;
  • Learn and apply EMC principles in system design;
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support project execution. 

We are looking for

Professional qualifications and skills:

Must-have:

  • M.Sc./BSc degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a similar role;
  • Experience with EPLAN P8 (or similar) for electrical schematics design;
  • Solid foundation in electrical system design and safety compliance;
  • Willingness to work hands-on in lab environments;
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn.

 

Nice-to-Have:

  • Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python or similar languages);
  • Hands-on experience programming PLCs for industrial automation; 
  • Exposure to PLC programming and industrial automation;
  • Awareness of ISO 13849 and ATEX standards.

 

Personal qualifications and skills:

  • Enjoys working in a team and sharing ideas with others;

  • Able to stay organized and keep track of tasks while working on projects simultaneously;

  • Cares about building things well and learning good engineering practices.
