On May 15th, Qlayers had the honor of welcoming Mrs. Liesje Schreinemacher, the Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation to our Headquarters in Delft, the Netherlands.
During the visit, Mrs. Schreinemacher embarked on a tour of our workshop, gaining firsthand insights into Qlayers’ innovative robotic solutions. She even had the opportunity to get hands-on with one of our crawlers, experiencing the cutting-edge technology firsthand.
Through in-depth presentations and engaging discussions with our dedicated team, the visit served as a platform to showcase Qlayers’ mission: revolutionizing the future of maintenance and coating through smarter, cleaner and more sustainable solutions powered by robotics.
Large industrial assets such as ships, storage tanks and wind turbines all require protective coatings. However, traditional methods of applying these coatings – manual rolling and spraying – are often labor-intensive, time-consuming and pose safety risks.
Qlayers robotic coating solutions offer a compelling alternative. By deploying these robtos, coating contractors and asset owners can achieve significant efficiency gains. The 10Q robot, for instance, can apply high-quality protective coatings at a speed 6 times faster than a team of six manual painters using rollers.
