Qlayers and OFTEC organized an exclusive demonstration event to showcase the operational capabilities of the 10Q coating robot and the water jetting robot VacuMag 3000.
This event drew the attention of over 30 leading industrial experts to OFTEC’s headquarters in Dorsten, Germany. Together, the two companies provided comprehensive showcased and valuable insights into the significant advantages offered by robotic solutions when it comes to industrial surface treatment processes.
The event consisted of presentations by Qlayers and OFTEC, a technology demonstration of both robots on the test wall, and an engaging Q&A session.
With its unique patented spray shielding system, Qlayers’ 10Q robot is able to significantly enhance HSE aspects in coating projects, reducing working hours at dangerous heights by up to 80%. The robot can also consistently coat surfaces at a speed of up to 200 m2/h with virtually no overspray, ensuring the safety of the painters’ crew and the environment.
OFTEC specializes in equipment for automated coating removal and surface preparation in industrial environments. They are at the forefront of developing and manufacturing robotic systems and accessories coupled with systems for process water treatment in various configurations.
