Josefien Groot, co-founder and CEO of Qlayers won the prestigious “Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year 2022” award by EY.

Josefien co-founded Qlayers with Ruben Geutjens in 2017. Driven by their passion for sustainability, they form a highly complementary management team to make industrial surfaces functional with nature-inspired solutions. Qlayers is the industry pioneer and leader in industrial robotic coating application, delivering coating projects in Europe, North America, the Middle East, and South East Asia.
In addition to the EY Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year 2022 award, Qlayers’ CEO, Josefien Groot, is also the proud recipient of many prestigious awards such as 2021 StocExpo Forty under 40, FD Young Talents 2020 and EU Prize for Women Innovators 2020.
