Qlayers has recently hosted a demonstration for the 10Q robot at the new company location in Delft.
The demo was organized in collaboration with AkzoNobel to showcase the capabilities of the 10Q paint robot and provide asset owners and contractors with first-hand experience of using a coating robot for tank maintenance.
During the event, Qlayers’ CEO, Josefien Groot, and Nick Allen (Technical Manager at AkzoNobel) took the canter stage to pitch to 40+ attendees elaborating on how our technology benefits our clients by minimizing the risk of working at heights and enhancing the precision and efficiency of coating application processes.
“We’ve been using Qlayers robot now several times. I am really impressed by the performance of the robot. This robot helps us in reducing work at height, and on top of that we see that the robot also helps us in increasing productivity and reducing direct cost. The robot for us is a great innovation we are keen to use in our assets. We hope that this will transform the industry… I think it will and we look forward to continue to collaborate with Qlayers.”
- Erwin Loonen, Maintenance Robotics Program Lead at Shell
The event concluded with a lunch and a Q&A where many attendees took interest in the 10Q’s technological specifications and international operations as well as Qlayers’ vision for the industrial maintenance and coating industry.
