ABOUT THE JOB

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design and development of cutting-edge automatic applicator systems for industrial coating application. You’ll take ownership of complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and drive innovation in electrical design and system integration. Your deep expertise in tools like EPLAN P8 and compliance with international standards will be key to delivering high-performance, reliable solutions.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and improvement of electrical schematics using EPLAN P8 (or similar)
  • Ensure all electrical systems comply with safety and regulatory standards such as NEN 3140, IEC 60204-1, and CE
  • Evaluate and select suitable electrical and electronic components to optimize system performance
  • Supervise the assembly and testing of electrical cabinets and prototypes
  • Apply EMC principles and ensure safe, reliable designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle

We are looking for

Professional qualifications and skills:

 

Must-have:

  • MSc./BSc/BA degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a similar role
  • Advanced proficiency with EPLAN P8 or similar tools
  • Strong expertise in electrical system design, EMC, and CE compliance
  • Proven hands-on experience in lab testing and troubleshooting.

 

Nice-to-have:

  • Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python or similar languages)
  • Hands-on experience programming PLCs for industrial automation
  • Knowledge of ISO 13849 functional safety standards for machinery
  • Familiarity with NEN 3140 and IEC 60204- safety standards and ATEX certification.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work across multidisciplinary teams
