ABOUT THE JOB

As a Mechanical Assembly Technician you are responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems and components according to engineering drawings, technical documentation, and quality standards. The role requires a high level of precision, technical skills, and attention to detail to ensure that assembled systems meet performance and safety requirements.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical systems, subassemblies, and components following engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and 3D CAD models;
  • Install and align shafts, bearings, couplings, seals, and other mechanical parts;
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate fits and alignments;
  • Read and interpret mechanical schematics, technical drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs);
  • Perform functional tests and quality checks on completed assemblies;
  • Identify and report non-conformities, defects, or design issues during assembly;
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality departments to resolve technical issues;
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition;
  • Comply with all safety procedures and company policies;
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in assembly processes and efficiency.

We are looking for

Professional qualifications and skills:

  • Vocational or technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field;
  • 2+ years of proven experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or machinery building;
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles, tolerances, and fits;
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation;
  • Skilled with torque tools, precision measurement, general mechanical hand tools;
  • Basic understanding of electronics, pneumatics or hydraulics is a plus;
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Fluency in English.

  • Strong attention to detail and a critical mindset towards accuracy;
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude;
  • Ability to collaborate across different departments and contribute to product improvements;

  • Salary range EUR 2700 – 3300 gross per month for a 40-hour work week. Exact amount depends on the seniority of the candidate.
