ABOUT THE JOB

The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electronic and electromechanical systems according to engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications. The role combines mechanical assembly with electrical and electronic integration, requiring strong attention to detail and technical precision.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Assemble and integrate electronic components, wiring harnesses, sensors, and control units into mechanical systems;
  • Perform electrical wiring and routing according to schematics, diagrams, and work instructions;
  • Solder components, connect cables, and ensure proper grounding and insulation;
  • Conduct functional and continuity testing of assembled systems using multimeters;
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation;
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve wiring or design issues identified during assembly or testing;
  • Verify that all assemblies meet electrical safety and quality standards;
  • Maintain accurate records of assembly and test results;
  • Work according to NEN 3140 safety practices;
  • Support process improvements and documentation updates.

We are looking for

Professional qualifications and skills:

Must-have

  • Vocational or technical degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field;
  • 2+ years of proven experience in electronics or electromechanical assembly;
  • Solid understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, and schematic reading;
  • Skilled in soldering, crimping, and cable assembly;
  • Experience using electronic test equipment;
  • Familiarity with mechanical assembly tools and practices;
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with minimal supervision;
  • Strong focus on quality, precision, and safety;
  • Fluency in English.

 

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with control panels, PLCs, or automation systems;
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 or similar assembly standards;
  • Experience in industries such as robotics, aerospace or automotive.

  • Hands-on mentality with a proactive approach to solving problems;
  • Strong attention to detail and a critical mindset towards accuracy;
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude;
  • Ability to collaborate across different departments and contribute to product improvements;

  • Salary range EUR 2700 – 3300 gross per month for a 40-hour work week. Exact amount depends on the seniority of the candidate.
