The pandemic affected a lot of people and companies in different ways. COVID-19 has brought unprecedented human and humanitarian challenges such as the elderly people being left without caregivers, entrepreneurs dealing with financial problems, local trades going out of business and the increasing workload for health workers.
As a team, we had to adjust our way of working to not only proceed with our ambitions and productivity but also put the safety of employees first. We encourage our team members to work from home as much as possible. When it is necessary to work in the office, everyone has to follow safety measures such as keep 1.5m distance, wear a mask in public areas, wash their hands and sanitize their work surface after usage. Also, the maximum number of people for each office room is determined to ensure a safe workplace for everyone.
Our way of working might be changed but our passion and enthusiasm stayed the same.
We haven’t stopped improving, learning and growing to reach our goal.
In the past few months, we focused on optimizing Qlayers’ 10Q paint robot and deployed our innovative technology in an exciting project for Maasvlakte Olie Terminal. We look forward to more challenging projects soon.
Furthermore, we catch up for the time we are not all working together in the same space by having weekly online inspirational meetings and virtual borrels. In this way we not only keep our team safe but also motivated and cheerful.
