ABOUT THE JOB

As a Validation and Verification Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cutting-edge systems and products. You will be responsible for defining and executing comprehensive validation and verification plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to the development of high-quality, robust solutions that meet the highest industry standards.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop and document validation strategies, plans, and protocols based on product requirements and specifications
  • Perform tests, analyze results, and ensure that systems meet design and functional requirements
  • Design and implement automated and manual test cases, leveraging tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes
  • Ensure all validation and verification activities comply with relevant standards and regulations
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with engineering teams to resolve issues
  • Contribute to the optimization of validation and verification processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Work closely with engineering and project management teams to align on testing strategies and timelines.

We are looking for

Professional qualifications and skills:

Must-have:

  • M.Sc./BSc/BA degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in validation and verification or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of validation and verification processes and methodologies
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment (such as oscilloscopes and mustimeters for testing and debugging
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards relevant to the industry (e.g., ISO, CE)
  • Proficient in data analysis and interpretation using tools like Python or Excel
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing
  • Experience conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
  • Experience in embedded systems testing and debugging
  • Certifications in validation and verification or quality assurance.
