MEET QLAYERS: Sergio, one of our 'sharkskin' experts

Sergio García, our Spanish physicist, is currently working on the automation of the 'sharkskin' microstructures printing technology to make each surface functional. He works together with Nikolas and Ruben in doing so. 
Sergio finished his bachelor’s in Physics and he finished his Masters in 'New Electronic and Photon Technologies' with a specialization in mechatronics, lasers and metrology.

Sergio found out about Qlayers when he was looking for opportunities abroad to acquire professional working experience. After 3 months of hard work, he is now one of our full-time employees.
 
Apart from being a physicist, Sergio is a great guitar player and you can regularly find him playing his harmonica during a jam session. Even though the early lunch in Holland was a struggle in the beginning, he has been adapting quite fast to the Dutch life. The weather is not always perfect, but cycling everywhere gives him a feeling of freedom. Bouldering with the Qlayers team is now an integral part of his daily life.
 
His courage, curiosity, commitment and decisiveness are what make him a cornerstone in our Qteam. It was such a challenge to find him!
